The line between word processing and desktop publishing is beginning to blur. The ability to quickly and easily manipulate text and graphics on screen and try out new ideas is readily available in most word processing software as well as less expensive, easy to use programs such as Microsoft Publisher. This desktop publishing course is designed to build on skills learned in the word processing course and move you into the arena of basic desktop publishing. Online instruction will be for Microsoft Word and Apple (Claris) Works applications, on both PC and Macintosh platforms.
