The computer-based word processor is one of the most useful tools available to teachers and students alike. A word processor gives you nearly limitless power to edit and format text, allowing you to mold the written word into a professional-looking document.
By the end of this course, you will be able to use Microsoft Word XP to create a document that demonstrates your proficiency in the skills required to use a word processor. When you're done, you'll upload your finished document to your mentor for review.
Step 1 -- Download the deliverable (.doc, .pdf, .rtf) and template (.doc, .pdf, .rtf) documents.
Step 2 -- Use the course map on the left side of the screen to locate the learning activity pages that teach the skills you require. You can go through all of the skills sequentially, from top to bottom, if you wish, or simply access the specific skills you need in order to complete the course. It's up to you.
Step 3 -- When you've finished all of the work outlined in the template, upload your finished document to your mentor using CTAP Online's Document Sharing feature.
